We have a new name!

Farmington becomes a part of CapStar Bank, and is renamed Farmington Mortgage: A Division of CapStar Bank.

2013 - Continuing to Grow and Serve

Farmington Financial Group, LLC, is now one of the largest residential lending groups in Middle Tennessee, focused on providing superior customer service, rates and costs to homeowners.

2013 - Top 40 under 40

Hart Weatherford is named as one of the Nashville Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40.

2013 - Best in Business

Farmington is named a finalist in the Nashville Business Journal’s Best in Business award.

2012 - Award for Excellence

Billy Hamburg is awarded the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association Diamond Award for Excellence.

2012 - Top 25 Lenders

Farmington is named one of the Top 25 Mortgage Lenders by the Nashville Business Journal.

2012 - Move to Green Hills

Farmington moves its offices from 21st Avenue South in Midtown to its current Green Hills location on Richard Jones Road.

2008 - Billy Hamburg Joins the Team

Billy Hamburg, who would later become a partner in the company, joins the team at Farmington.

2006 - First Loans Are Closed

In January, Farmington has two employees and closes its first loans.

2005

Farmington Founded By Hart Weatherford

Hart Weatherford forms Farmington Financial Group, LLC, with the vision of creating a local boutique mortgage bank that would better service the consumer on a local level. The Farmington name is chosen because of its long history in the Weatherford family. Weatherford's grandfather's family was from Farmington, England, and when the family settled in Franklin, Tenn., the family farm was named Farmington.
